Investments
The Investments section is available when the investments module is enabled for your organization. It groups tools for transactions, the rate guide, and portfolio assets.
Transactions
Use Transactions to view and work with investment-related entries according to your permissions.
Common patterns:
- View all — see the full list of transactions your role allows.
- View own only — some roles are limited to entries tied to themselves.
- Create — add new investment entries when your process allows.
- Approve or reject — users with approval rights move items through your workflow.
Your organization defines what “approve” means in business terms (for example, dual control, limits, or documentation). Document those rules in workflows as you formalize them.
Rate guide
The Rate guide holds reference information for rates your organization publishes or maintains. Users with view access can read it; users with manage access can update it, subject to policy.
Keep the rate guide aligned with official communications so staff and downstream processes do not conflict.
Portfolio assets
Portfolio assets describes or lists assets in scope for your investment offering, depending on how your organization uses the screen.
- View — browse asset information.
- Manage — add, edit, or retire entries as your process allows.
