Core — dashboard and customers

This section covers the Core area of the staff ERP: the dashboard, Customers, and Profile updates (when the customers module is enabled).

Dashboard

Use the Dashboard to get an overview when you first sign in. What you see may depend on your role and what your organization prioritizes (for example, key metrics or shortcuts).

Customers

The Customers area is where staff look up and work with customer records.

Typical activities may include:

  • Finding a customer and reviewing their profile.
  • Supporting customer service or operations tasks that your process defines.

Who can access it: Users need permission to view customers (and related onboarding permissions if your workflow includes reviewing applications). Your administrator configures this under Roles & permissions.

Customer onboarding (applications)

If your role includes it, you may use customer-related screens to review onboarding applications — for example, to approve or reject them according to your internal policy.

Align this documentation with your actual approval checklist; the product provides the mechanics, while who must approve and what evidence is required is a business decision.

Profile updates

Profile updates is for reviewing requests when customers ask to change details on file (for example, contact information). Staff with the right access can view these requests and, where permitted, approve or reject them.

Tips:

  • Treat approvals as formal decisions: ensure the change matches your policy and any verification steps you require offline.
  • If you only have view access, you can see requests but cannot complete approval actions.
